Our motto at FB+D is that everyone is entitled to quality design; a design defined by comfort, function and beauty, regardless of budget.  We believe that interiors should be defined by the individuals who inhabit them--that our clients should live well in their environments because of the design, not in spite of it. And most importantly, we believe that clients should never settle for "ugly or dysfunctional".  With creativity and thought function, comfort and beauty can be achieved simultaneously!

Our Mission is to work with you to help you define your own personal style and tailor a budget to suit you.  With our varied backgrounds and education, we are certain our design solutions will be well matched to your needs.  

Initial Consultation:  What we call the “programming phase” in the design industry may be the most important because this is when we carefully discuss the client’s needs, the scope of the project, the budget and the time frame.

Schematic Phase:  armed with the client’s requirements, we inventory the client’s existing furniture and accessories to aid in determining what pieces will remain and how we will incorporate this into the new design.  We then present the proposed schemes for the client to choose, at the same time, helping to narrow down the choices.

Design Development:  with the client’s approval, we fully develop the selected scheme, finalizing all furniture, fixtures, equipment, finishes and accessories.

Contract Documents: throughout the process we are careful to document every phase and detail.  Here we produce a set of plans, drawings and specifications pulling of necessary permits  and for bidding.  This is what we call the “instruction manual” for any project.

Contract Administration:  This is the final phase where, when permits are needed they are pulled by the client’s contractor; and  when construction, installation and purchasing begin.  The final step in this phase is the final inspection.
